	Appreciation Letter to the NMTA
	Dear Friends:   I hope all of you had a wonderful, educational and fun filled convention this year.  It was great to see my old friends again, meet new members and to see the many outstanding competition pieces!   It was with mixed feelings that I stepped down from your president position this year.  It was a great honor for me to be given the trust and opportunity to serve as director and as president.  I felt that it was time for the next highly qualified team to step in and manage this great association.  The NMTA is one of the top state associations and we are looked up to and admired.  Our quality of taxidermy, our strength, our unity and willingness to help each other succeed (just to mention a few) are second to none!   My sincere appreciation goes out to the other officers and directors and the numerous volunteers that have helped me and this association.  I couldn't have done this without you!  I want to congratulate the new NMTA Officers and Directors, and from either knowing or working with these individuals over the last several years, I'm confident that they will be a team committed and dedicated to the NMTA.   All of you have created something to be proud of and I encourage you to continue to stay involved and volunteer your time and talents to help each other and your association thrive.   Once again, THANK YOU and I hope to run into you this summer along a trout stream somewhere (I'll probably be the one trying to untangle my Panther Martin out of a tree).   Sincerely, Your friend- Lee Gallegos
